Showcasing skin of women less seen, this exhibit showcases close up photographs of skin that is deemed imperfect. Normality is defined by the images we see all around us, and we are led to believe that skin should be flawless. Whether unshown or simply disguised, many have conditions such as eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, acne, stretch marks, and feel pressure to hide behind masks of makeup and clothing - covering up what makes them unique. This exhibit unashamedly highlights the form, color, texture, and beauty of imperfect skin.
